Here at McFly Fan Fics, we like to obsess over music. That's just the way we roll. Our newest obsession? The Jonas Brothers. Who are the Jonas Brothers? Give me six minutes. Now, pay attention, and I'm going to try to get this out right the first time. It all started with Nicholas Jonas being 'discovered' at the age of 6. By 7, he was on Broadway, baby. Joseph Jonas wasn't far behind. He started in Broadway around the time that Nick was getting radio play as a solo artist... In 2004, Nick was signed to Columbia Records as a solo artist. Joe and Kevin helped him in writing songs for his album. In 2005, upon hearing the brothers perform one of the songs together, the president of Columbia Records signed them as a group act. Late that year, the Jonas Brothers released their first single ("Mandy") from their debut album, It's About Time. The album had a limited release since Columbia soon lost interest in our beloved JoBros... (What idiots, am I right?) The Jonas Brothers kept going, even recording a new version of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" for the dvd release of Disney's The Little Mermaid. That kept them in the radar, but Columbia dropped them in early 2007. Not much longer, they signed with Hollywood Records. That's where we can find them now... They appeared in a few more Disney movie soundtracks before their album Jonas Brothers was released in August. It got to 5th place on the Billboard charts in its first week. (Hey, Columbia! Any regrets?) Soon after, the Jonas Brothers began their roller coaster ride of fame... They guest-starred on Disney's Hannah Montana (that exposed them to 10.7 million viewers). They had many - and I mean many - tv appearances soon after. They got an opening slot on Miley Cyrus' tour which further exposed them to the public eye since it was presented in theaters across the nation. The brothers filmed their own Disney Channel original movie called Camp Rock which debuted on June 20th with close to 9 million viewers. Was that six minutes long? I have no idea... But, I'll tell you that their next album, A Little Bit Longer, will be released on August 12th, 2008. You can pre-order it by clicking here. (It comes with an exclusive dvd. Tempted, much?) One last thing: They're on tour again. Heads up: A few of their shows are being filmed by a Disney 3D crew. I looooooove these guys, I'm in loove with nick Jonas, Great music, great style, great fans, great lyrics, great concerts, great everything! :drool:

LOL! xD I feel weird for liking them... because there's all these little 9 yr old girls who want to marry them and stuff.. and... I'm not a 9 yr old. ._.; I feel like I shouldn't like them because they're so much younger then me. haha
But oh well!!! I love them anyway!! Their music makes me go: :whee: |
