Since the beginning, this forum has run well without any problems. We all - for the most part - have come here from well-organized forums that don't support any form of disregard for authority. That being said, we're broadening our members list now and I thought it'd be best to establish our rules - just so everyone has a clear knowledge of how we've learned to conduct ourselves. So, without any more random babbling, here they are.

The EMA Forum Rules and Regulations

1] Be civil.
Basically, don't go around telling people off or insulting them in anyway. All joking aside, there are certain boundaries you're never to cross. You don't do it to your real life friends, so don't do it here. And mind your admins/mods! We work hard to keep The EMA up and running, so don't come in here and ruin it.

2] Learn your surroundings.
We have categories on our main page for a reason. Each category has its own forums, and each forum has its own threads. That being said, if you have something to post, make sure it goes in the proper place. If it's wrong, we will move it for you. If it's completely irrelevant, we will close it.

3] Mind your typing.
There is nothing that annoys us more than text talk.
Except, maybe, people -/-~~'wHo TyPe LyKe tHiS'~~-\-.
Please, by all means, refrain from typing LyKe tHiS, LIKE THIS, lyk dis and from getting fancy with the various forms of punctuation your keyboards provide.
You have a full keyboard in front of you, we're sure you know how to use it, so please do. As for the ALL CAPS way of typing, this is seen as yelling and might be taken to mean something a little more aggressive than you initially intended it to mean.

4] No spamming.
This refers to posts with only one word, i.e., LOL, BRB, No, Yes, Bye. If you're going to say something, say it well. There's more in your head than 'No.' So, either follow it with a reason, or don't say it at all. Posts such as these will be deleted. This goes with emoticons as well. Also, no multiple posts. Those are pointless and will be deleted.

5] Graphics.
This is referring to avatars, signatures, fan art, photographs and such. Please do not post graphics that do not belong to you claiming them as your own. If you find something 'cool' elsewhere and feel like sharing, tell us where you got it from so proper credit can be given. Also, if you're posting images, please keep them a reasonable size. For example, if you've got a wallpaper you'd like to show off, post a link to the image as opposed to the image itself. This just helps to keep the forums aesthetically pleasing. ;]

6] Banning.
The dreadful word... Here's how to avoid it.
--Do not spread songs like wildfire. Especially not commercially available tracks. You're losing people money, so quit it.
--Do not post stuff claiming it's yours and yours alone when it's anything but. That is plagiarism in any form and we will not stand for it.
--Do not cause a panic on the forums. Meaning, don't do anything stupid that ends in an e-riot.
--Do not give out personal information about anyone. This includes forum members, as well as the guys of Elliot Minor.

All that being said, hooray, hooray, have fun!
